Terms & Conditions of Hire

 

1.                50% Deposit [of the hire charges, R500 refundable damages fee & R50 non refundable booking fee] must be paid upfront to initialise reservation.

 

2.                   Bookings are only confirmed once reservation form & conditions of hire have been completed, signed & RETURNED along with copy of ID and proof of payment.

 

3.                   The breakage fee would be refunded to you 2 -5 days after departure should there be no ‘damages’.

 

4.                   Cancellation: 

·         From 28 to 21 days 25% is forfeited; From 21 to 14 days 50% is forfeited;

·         From 14 to 7 days 75% is forfeited; Less than 7 days 100% is forfeited

 

5.                   Balance due must be paid 2 days before your booking or else your booking could be cancelled.

 

6.                   Arrival – 2pm on the date of arrival. Prior arrangements  must be made for Late Arrivals.

 

7.                   NO HOOTING allowed outside the gate or on the premises. Kindly advise fellow guests as well.

8.                   Keys & gate remote available only upon arrival. Kindly close the main gate behind you using the remote, as it

 does not close automatically. Parking is according to allocated unit number.

 

9.                   Please make sure that you go through the inventory list found in the kitchen & report any irregularities immediately.

 

10.                Apartments are governed by strict Rules & Regulations:

 

·         No animals/pets on the premises

·         Maximum amount of people per apartment as per booking STRICTLY: NO VISITORS ALLOWED

·                     2 sleeper = 1 vehicle, 4 sleeper = 1 vehicle, 8 sleeper = 3 vehicles & 10 sleeper = 4 vehicles maximum.

·         No hanging of towels & washing on balconies & through windows. Please use clothes stand provided.

·         Smoking is not allowed indoors. Please use sand pots on verandas/balconies  as need .

·         HI FI's & any form of display music is not permitted.

·         Please DONOT disconnect the Tv system to connect your Laptop/decoder/gaming/dvd etc.

·         Please take note of quiet hours between 22H00 and 07H00

·         Children must be under adult supervision at all times. Management will not be responsible for any injuries

·         The Pool and pool area is closed from 21H00 to 7H00 for Maintenance & Safety Reasons

·         IF YOU INTEND ON USING THE VENUE FOR A PARTY OR FOR Additional guests other than those allocated above, YOUR BOOKING WILL BE DECLINED

·         You are liable for damages to the apartment, house or land caused by yourself or accompanying guests.

·         The usage by a third party or any other additional occupancy is not permitted

·         Rearrangement of fixed/movable items is strictly prohibited

·         Erecting of temporary canopies is also strictly prohibited

·         Mixing of cutlery, crockery, cookware, glassware etc. between units is also strictly prohibited

 

11.                Linen is changed according to the length of one’s stay & hence will be changed after each guest leaves or after a maximum of 1 week, whichever comes first.

 

12.                Clothes Iron, sanitaries, detergents, bath towels & beach towels are not supplied, however we do provide the essentials for the kitchen  & bedroom.

 

13.                Checkout – 10am on the date of departure

 

14.                Please lock the entrance door of the apartment when leaving & hand over the keys & gate remote

 

15.                Please ensure that the swimming pool gate stays latched-closed at all times

 

16.                The owner is not liable for short term break down of furnishing or machinery provided or public supply. A reduction in the price is not possible within a reparation time of 36 hours.

 

17.                The owner is not liable for loss or damages caused by burglary, fire, flood, burst pipes, storm, impact with road vehicles, landslip, subsidence, earthquake etc.

 

18.                THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY. The owner has the right of the house, i.e. he can prohibit the entrance or is allowed to expel guests from the site for not obeying the terms & conditions. The guests may have to leave the property. A refund of the hire price would not be possible. Not leaving the property constitutes breaking the    ‘Terms & Conditions” and the owner will press charges.
